Very cool spot. Old Sacramento, old houses from 1800s style, with cool shops like Saloons. By the river, can see the bridge. Can walk around the shops, can see all of it, it’s not too big. Worth a visit if in Sacramento.

I love to tour Capitols and this measures up. Our tour guide was fine and the restaurant in the lower level is decent. They had 2 very interesting photography exhibits at the time I was there. The museum is composed of the entire first floor, made up of historic rooms from the 1900s. From the Governor’s offices to the Treasury.

Such a very nice and iconic landmark in Sacramento with plenty of history behind it as well as the essential of building Sacramento during the early years including the industrial companies and people who moved here over the decades. Definitely a great place to visit especially the downtown area and the California state capitol.
