We visited Universal Studios during Thanksgiving 2024 with my husband, our baby, and myself, and overall it was a very magical experience. The park was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made everything feel extra special for the holidays. Grinch story time was very enjoyable, especially for families, and the studio tour of the movie sets was super entertaining and a must-do.
This was our second time visiting—our first was back in 2018—and this time they had Super Nintendo World, which was hands down the best thing the park offers. Mario World was incredible and definitely the highlight of our trip.
One downside for us was the food. During our first visit, we tried the Simpsons burgers and they had no flavor at all. This time we tried the Mexican bowl and unfortunately had the same experience. We also got hot chocolate, which wasn’t good either. The food is definitely not the park’s strong point.
Other than that, everything else was wonderful and very well done. It did get very busy in the afternoon since it was a holiday, but we still enjoyed our time and the festive atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience and very memorable for our family.
