Capturing the Griffith Observatory from a drone perspective is absolutely breathtaking. The iconic building sits beautifully on the hillside, overlooking the vast city of Los Angeles. From above, you can truly appreciate how it’s framed by Griffith Park’s greenery with the sprawling urban landscape stretching endlessly beyond it.
The contrast between nature, architecture, and the dense city below creates a stunning visual composition, especially during golden hour or sunset. It’s one of those places where the view feels cinematic no matter the angle, truly a must-see landmark in LA!

he Hollywood Sign is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, located on Mount Lee in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Originally erected in 1923 as "Hollywoodland" to advertise a real estate development, it has become an international symbol of the entertainment industry and Hollywood culture. The landmark is preserved and promoted by the Hollywood Sign Trust.
Visited Lake Hollywood Park on a Monday morning to catch a view of the Hollywood Sign. The view is fantastic and makes for great photos, but be sure to check the weather misty mornings can affect visibility.
Street parking is available but can get very busy, so plan ahead and be patient. The area around the park was a bit dusty, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Overall, it’s a worthwhile stop for anyone wanting a closer look at the iconic Hollywood Sign and a quick outdoor break.
