The Pink Door is immeasurably lucky to have a team of head managers that have been with the restaurant for long enough to be like family. Whether it’s a tenure of 20 years, 23 years, or over 30 years…each manager was trained and mentored by Jackie and holds decades of experience at their restaurant. While each bring their own special talents, they are all guided by their ingrained love of the kinetic energy that comes from a well run buzzy restaurant and their mutual quest for excellence.
WOW! We visited on a Friday night with a last minute reservation. Promptly seated in their lovely outdoor patio. We started with the tuna crudo - bright and delicious flavor combination. Our cocktails were middle of the road - strawberry patio cocktail and celery gin drink - you could get better elsewhere. The star of the show was the Ragu Bolognese, which was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in my life. My husband got the pasta and meatballs which were fine but nothing compared to the Ragu. We ended with the strawberry pavlova, which was phenomenal - light and flavorful but not too sweet. If we are ever back in Seattle we will be back for that Ragu!

The food here is really good I’d definitely recommend it. Everything we ordered was delicious and well prepared. I especially love the crystal chandeliers; they give the whole space such a warm, elegant, and slightly romantic atmosphere without feeling too formal. It’s a perfect spot for birthdays or any kind of celebration with friends and family. Overall, great food, great vibe, and somewhere I’d happily come back to

So simple yet so scrumptious! We were able to snag a last-minute reservation, which felt like a win. Inside is dim and intimate, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the food.
I was torn over the entire primi section, so we asked what we couldn’t leave Seattle without trying and ended up splitting both tajarins. Zero regrets.
And of course, wine to go with it 🍷
